The best gun for a woman is...whatever she will enjoy shooting and is willing to carry. Be it a Colt Gold Cup, a Bersa Thunder, a S&W 629, an XD/Glock/M&P plastic fantastic, or even a Snubbie from Hell.
However, a Saiga .410 shotgun is pretty darned cool. :)
I think I'd prefer a 20 gauge instead due to poor ballistics of .410.
It is pretty damn cool though. As I was saying in the BB&G chat I may just have to pick one up in 20sometime. Something about not having a shotgun just feels wrong.
I'm ashamed to say that I've never fired a semiauto Saiga shotgun; I have fired a full-auto 20ga with an 8" or 10" barrel, and after three bursts I had a visible bruise on the pad of my trigger finger. :o
Either it is not a problem or I haven't dumped enough rounds through it to notice. I've never noticed any pain shooting the gun (it hurts buying ammo).
I want to get it out to Iggy creek sometime and let you try it.
This is awesome. I've been looking recently for a good gun and ammo, but I haven't found anything that I can buy yet. All the best ones seem to be a little bit out of my price range...soon, though, soon.

(wv = "Ableall". Yep, pretty much describes it.)
My work here is done...
Heh. Glad to oblige. Shooting that was simply too much fun. Thanks MSJ!

Carol liked the Saiga also.
Great gun. Kinda hard to carry concealed...
Nice :-)
The girls loved watching that video. :)
What gauge was that, Breda?
.410 gauge with a 15 round magazine and a red dot sight.
It is a good setup to give a first time shooter so that they have fun and want to come back for more.
Best gun for a woman?
I think shot placement is more important than caliber/gauge...

Mad Saint Jack,
How's the trigger slap on that one?
