When I say "Oooh," you say, "Long!"

An introduction to Chap Hop, thanks to Mr. Sorrentino.

I say, Mrs. Fallacy, jolly good of you to drop me a link.

Well, pip pip and cheerio, as they say.

Having reflected upon the lyrics of this smashingly good song, I must say that I am entirely in agreement with the good Professor viz. that herbal teas are not teas worth the bother.

To a Gentleman, there are two teas. Earl Grey and English Breakfast. One risks embarrassment at the club if one orders anything else.

Had occasion to spend three days with Mo Seaver, founder of Celestial Seasonings, in March. Never saw him drink any herbal either. Probably knows better. Did see he originally started out by gleaning the hillsides of the Flatirons outside his college dorm at UC-Boulder. No telling what those plants might have caused psychotropically.

I like both Earl Grey and English Breakfast, but Morning Thunder is great. If you need a little more help, throw a bag or two of Ginseng tea into the pot. PG tips is a good English tea that I have found in the States, although I am sure that I am quite ignorant regarding English Teas.

My mother, who is Scottish and therefore a bit of an authority on the subject, delights is a cup of PG Tips. I have found, however, that when I want a cup, it is worth the effort to haul out the old tea pot and use the loose leaf.

As I am a Gentleman, I take to my bed at a decent hour and find that I do not need so much of a "pick me up" in the morning that I must adulterate my tea with Ginseng.

I should be ashamed to do so, my good man.

Hey! SleepyTime with honey and the barest little bit of lemon is *wonderful.* The original Good Earth is incredibly rich and spicy!

But that said... both the Earl Grey and his good lady... *so* nice.

Oop! the kettle's whistling. Ta!
