The Library of Congress has created National Jukebox, a trove of historical recordings that you can listen to for free!
For example, you can hear a speech by Teddy Roosevelt...
Enjoy (& remember to thank a librarian!)

That's cool. Thank, Breda.
It's like a treasure trove for a lifelong nerd!
Very cool indeed. Thanks Breda!
...'ank you...
My mother the librarian would actually be on the computer to use this! Thanks.
Now to figure out how to save stuff to burn CDs for the car.
That is one reason I am not against "download piracy" as much as some. I do not much give a hoot about todays teenbopper music, but I have treasured an MP3 of Joplin (Scott, not Janis) playing one of his rags, recorded by someone from a player-piano roll. Think that is otherwise available? HAH!
Wow Teddy's Accent is blowing my mind! I can't make heads or tails of it!
IIRC, sounds pretty close to FDR. And, judging by the contents, might call him FDR Prequel. Wage and price controls. Progressives...
