Dragon Leatherworks

Things that have been made skillfully and thoughtfully by hand have an incomparable beauty - and something that's been custom made especially for you by a talented craftsman is quite a treasure indeed. That's why I'm pleased to be able to endorse the Talon holster from Dragon Leatherworks.

(please enlarge photos for clearer detail)

The Talon, originally designed with the 1911 in mind, was a perfect choice for my Bersa Thunder .380. It wears comfortably (even with a skirt, ladies!) and the surprising amount of retention this holster offers, along with its amazing good looks, makes it a perfect option for open carry.

My Dragon Leatherworks Talon is one of a kind but because each is made by hand from gorgeous high quality leather, one at a time, with extraordinary attention to detail - yours will be too.

I love how we suddenly have all these holster craftsmen popping up all over the place.

That means more people are carrying guns now and demanding better equipment than cheap nylon holsters.

We ARE winning.

Have to show you my Fugly I got from Dennis last week. It's the perfect Summer Fashion Accessory!

Alan, also more people are open carrying and wanting a holster that doesn't look like a POS, or what the local PD carry.

Also doesn't hurt for your open carry holster to make a fashion statement.

BTW Breda glad to finally see the up-close shots of your Talon. Very sharp and lady-like!

Now that is a right pretty holster!

It matches its owner well.

That is absolutely gorgeous. (And it almost matches my purple leather checkbook cover that has knotwork on it.)

I used to scratch my head at comments in magazines or at gun shops from folks describing their "box of holsters" at home. It didn't make sense to me in those days. One holster that fits the weapon you carry in the field seemed more than adequate for a lifetime.

Now with virtually ubiquitous concealed carry and a wardrobe of guns to fit what I happen to be wearing for the occasion and the season, I find myself with a "big box of holsters". And I love all of them!

Love the Celtic cross.

I hope they put a label on it stating, "Worn and endorsed by the World's Most Dangerous Librarian"!

That would be tempting for my CZ 83.

"It wears comfortably."

You have no idea how much this disgruntled IL resident envys you that.

I have been looking at one of these for my 1911 for some time. It's looks like quality, it looks comfortable, and my only question was retention which you say is not a problem. Now I got to earn enough Kitchen Points to order one.

Shamalama - I have one for my 1911 and will have my review up shortly. It's a great holster with plenty of retention. You won't be disappointed.
