happy now, Allen Schulman?

Good thing neither of these women in Canton, Ohio were carrying a gun - someone could have really gotten hurt.

Horrific! Mr. Schulman, see that stuff on your hands? Its called blood!

To all of use with warm blood, CARRY YOUR DAMN GUN! When confronted with violence FIGHT BACK!

I look in my backseat any time I get in the car for exactly that reason. People have called me paranoid because of it, but it's something my parents taught my sisters and I for exactly that reason.

And of course the 2nd attack happened in the driveway. There are NO safe places. You want to be safe? Carry a gun and stay away from Canton police.

Someone WAS hurt. The victim. Of course, she doesn't MATTER to Mr. Shulman.

This two cases are yet more examples of why I slowly begin to favor vigilantism over police forces.

Today's police are more concerned with revenue collection and "easy numbers." By "easy numbers," I'm speaking of a term we used to use in our agency 20 years ago.

Basically, it means making plentiful arrests to pad your numbers and show your "effectiveness." Conviction rate isn't your problem--that's the U.S. Attorney's problem, or the District Attorney in non-federal crimes.

If either of these women were my kid sisters, I'd have them give me a description, in detail, of their assailants.

Then I'd go to work.

I'd catch the SOB.

But in Mr.Schulman's Fantasy World, neither of these rapes would have occurred if those Damn Right Wing Bloggers weren't picking on his Po-Po. It's YOUR fault that the Cop had to be suspended, don't you know.

@AOA - I'd hope your kid sisters would be carrying. If they're not, you still have work to do.

I'm sure Mr. Schulman would tells us that these women were in the wrong neighborhoods after dark and therefore had it coming.

Ok, first I have to say I feel horrible for the victim, and sexual assaults are a horrible crime.

That said I have to ask, what on earth would make you comply with a command like "Lay down in the back seat and take off all your clothes" and have you NOT know what his next intent is?

Seriously?!?!

Run, fight, kick scratch, do whatever but DONT FREAKING LIE DOWN IN THE BACK SEAT AND TAKE OFF ALL YOUR CLOTHES!

WTF?
