You don't say!

A liberal journalist/reporter/columnist/whatever, who just happens to be married to one of the most liberal Senators, gets caught acting unethically?

I'm shocked. Shocked, I tell ya.

Years ago, when I was a teenager, a newspaper columnist married a Representative. (Danged if I remember names, though I think she married Charlie Gonzales.) She resigned her newspaper post. She wasn't even a news columnist; she was a lifestyle columnist, and resigned so as to avoid even the appearance of conflict of interest.

And I'd never considered the paper to be overly careful before. Hmm.

Hard to swallow, isn't it?

I've simply started referring to the Demcrats as the Hypocrites as in, "I wonder what the Hypocrites will say about this?" or "I hear the Hypocrite National Convention is being held in Charlotte this year."

I also sent a letter of protest to the HNC asking them to replace the donkey (an animal that is most certainly not afraid of work) and replace it with the silhouette of a pregnant welfare queen kissing a New Black Panther whose pants are drooping down to his knees.

No response.

I don't think they can read English, so I'm re-writing it and sending it in Spanish.

Well, the Cleveland PD is so left-leaning Sherrod Brown may as well use their offices as his campaign headquarters. So, really. I shouldn't be surprised.

You won't see this on CNN / MSNBC....

Yes, but the important question is this: Was there Gambling going on in the Back Room?

But Breda, do you really think the Cleveland Plain Stealer, the Akron Leakin' Urinal or the Lake County "No News, Harold" will try to be 'Fair and Balanced" in THIS Election Cycle?

Ugh. This irritates me. She should've never gone to this political event in the first place. Your husband is a politician -- recuse yourself!

Geez, when I was married to a police officer, I tried my darndest to stay away from most police-related reporting. In a shrinking newsroom, it wasn't always possible. But I stayed out of cases related to Paul.

It's not hard. If she saw others taking video, she should've had them send her a copy. Or she should've taped the WHOLE thing.

And in my own snobbish way, I don't really consider columnists to be journalists...they make the most noise, though.
