Actually, there's a news story from Michelle Malkin that the TWO Buses were built by a Canadian- Owned Company called Prevost at $1.1 million apiece. Add in the fuel, extra security, Hotel Rooms (sleep on the Bus? you must be joking!), and then it becomes $10-15 Million for the Boondoggle that will probably be parked forever after this weekend, when Barry flies off to Martha's Vineyard for his 10 Day Vacation.
Your kidding me right those have to be flown from place to place on a 747 or other cargo plane. I guess "the beast" (his new armored limo) is now too small to contain his ego.
Prevost is owned by the Volvo Group, who's headquarters are in Sweden. http://www.volvogroup.com/group/global/en-gb/volvo%20group/faq/Pages/faqhq.aspx
So even though Prevost is currently headquartered in Canada, they are not a Canadian owned company. Also, the buses were purchased from Hemphill Brothers, who bought the shell from Prevost, and did the mods before selling to the gov.
Not that I am condoning, or excusing, the purchase of the buses. Just want to clear up that the buses are not from a Canadian owned company.

What is that, "Greyhound One"?
Yep. Good story at the link.
I like the "Battle Bus from Mordor" better.
The photo of the bus driving through a corn field flat creeps me out.
Hey, at least it's not running over the guy with the Gadsen Flag
Darth Bus
What's especially galling is that this is clearly a campaign bus -- bought on the public dime.

"Your Federal Tax Dollars at Work."
The only positive I see is that it has to be cheaper than flying all over the country in a 747.
Brandon, except for the skyrocketing price of gas under Ă˜bama...
And I prefer the German term: Das bus.

Nice find! I hope he sees a thousand of those as he drives around.
Debt Star One on the move... Les, you're a tad high, probably ONLY $7 mil for the three days...
