And of course they probably missed the guy who forgot his carry piece was in his carry on.
I have heard of more than one story of people getting through the security line with firearms.

Good thing she wasn't going to a grammar school. Last year a school called in police to arrest a nine-year-old girl because she had a two-inch-long model of a luger on her keychain. Zero tolerance of weaponry.
