Mah skillz. Let me show you them.

Your Language Arts Grade: 100%

Way to go! You know not to trust the MS Grammar Check and you know "no" from "know." Now, go forth and spread the good word (or at least, the proper use of apostrophes).

Make a Quiz

(Pinched from RobertaX because it's Monday and I'm tired, crabby and don't have anything to write...but I do kind of rock the grammar, no? I also got the highest grade on the AP English test in high school. Without studying. Hell, I'm not sure I was even awake for most of the class. Anyway, go test yourself.)

The whole possessive apostrophe thing messes me up.

Did you notice that question 10 had two identical answers?

Meh, notmuchofa. No subjunctives, no jussive force (my grammatical find of the year!), no apposition issues. This is something up with which we should not put.

100%, but 'one might presume that.'

I did notice the duplicate answers, but I'm always on my guard for tricksy questions.

100%, one might expect nothing else.

100%.
Though my writing doesn't always reflect it; I normally tend to write in colloquial English, which varies from locality to locality.

Bob,just remember what Patton said to the sycophant: "It's not important that they know. It's only important that I know."
