teeny tiny Willoughby Blogmeet

In a few hours, I'll be meeting Clink K and his family (of the gun. Seriously, they take up a whole row.) at the Willoughby Brewing Company. Clint blogs over at the Virginia Citizens Defense League and emailed me recently to say that they'd be passing near northeast Ohio and would like to have dinner with me and Mike.

My new friend Heath came to the Friends of the NRA banquet, we went to the Indy Blog Meet, and now people are driving slightly out of their way to meet me? Cool! This blogging thing has made me a social butterfly!

Ain't it cool? :)

On the way to Indy, I chanced to let the phrase "social circle" pass my lips. SWMBO snorted in derision.

'Course, you'll note, she became a convert...

I was commenting to RobertaX after the Indy Blogmeet that we had the two Next Big Stars of the gun blogoshpere there in Breda and Ahab. If you've been following their traffic numbers and Technorati rankings like I have, you'd see that it won't be long before they're solidly at the head of the class. :)

So, the most important thing is that Breda’s numbers are the best in the land.

I’ve never had the fortunate occasion to personally meet Breda, but she appears to be a generous, intelligent, kind young lady who respects folks & actively participates in her 2nd amendment rights.

The dialogue from her spouse, Mike, suggests the same (except for the lady part).

Howzabout letting Breda do what Breda does w/out the pressure of becoming the #1 blogger on the planet?

If it is to be so, it will.

Should you become enraged at my suggestions, please put a stamp on it, & mail to:

Best of luck in your endeavors Breda (& Mike).

Breda and Mike we're great folks to meet and the town they live in is almost Rockwellian.

I can't even begin to tell y'all how much me and mine enjoyed it...

...but I'll try to write something up later tonight or tomorrow anyway. :)

Anonymous,

I was complimenting Breda, not putting pressure on her. She writes about interesting stuff, and I enjoy reading her blog. As for being #1...doesn't matter to me what her ranking is. She seems to be having a lot of fun with her blog and in comes through in her writing. I have never met her or Mike in person, but the good vibes come through.

It's okay, Anonymous. I'd be upset if my social skills were that stunted, too.

I'm sure our hostess recognizes compliments when she sees them.

thank you all for the compliments. No matter how inelegant, they are always much appreciated.
