The Breda blogtalk

I have to apologize. I was very nervous in the beginning of the podcast (and probably sounded terrible), partly because I wasn't sure I was working the switchboard correctly - the first time I dialed in, I used the wrong number and then once I dialed the right number, I misdialed the secret host pin number! So by the time I made it on the air, I was convinced I was making a royal mess of Caleb's show and he'd never forgive me. Then, to top it all off, I had to talk to an empty phone line! It's one of the most awkward, unnatural things for somewhat asocial types to do, so I tried to make that go as fast as possible and move on to the callers.

And what terrific callers! Eight people phoned in with questions and comments and totally made my night, and my serious case of nerves, a whole lot better. So I'd like to personally thank Bill, a blog lurker reader and fellow beer afficionado, my dear friends Margie and ClintK, and fellow bloggers TBolt from New Jovian Thunderbolt, Robb Allen from Sharp as a Marble, JayG from MArooned, Weer'd Beard from Weer'd World Arrrr, and Bitter from The Bitch Girls. I would also like to thank Caleb of Call me Ahab for giving me the opportunity to be on the air in the first place. And as much as I enjoyed doing the show by myself last night, I'm really looking forward to next week, because the show is so much better with him than without. (and I was so happy that he called in, despite my promise of a 100% Caleb-free show)

Anyway, if you missed it you can download it here or just click the widget below...

I totally forgot to listen and call in, but I did listen to part of it late last night.

you seemed to calm down after the
1st few minutes and did an excellent job. NJT and Robb's call-ins were great.

I'll have to listen to the rest of it tonight.

That was a great show. You need to look into writing an article about your anti-gun journey for the US Concealed Carry Association or the NRA or something.

I said this in the wrong post, and can't delete it, so at the risk of being redundant...

I just listened to the show, and think you did a good job. I can't wait until next week.
