The state of Ohio executed this man today and according to the witness reports, he cried out when they placed the shunts in his arm. He died unrepentant, alone...and in fear.
Justice is served.

Out-bloomin'-standing.
I am not one given to Church, but here's hoping the fear he felt at the shunts is eclipsed by several million orders of magnitude by what all the hounds of hell are doing to him right now and for eternity.
I believe we reap what we sew. For that pile of excrement, I hope it's excruciating.
Damn, why the hell did it take 22 years for this piece of scum to get his just desserts? Somewhere along the way, our judicial system got taken over by bleeding heart Liberals and criminals have more rights than we do. Three hots and a cot; free cable t.v.; free gym; free clothing; etc. One thing to be said about Chinese justice - a bullet in the back of the head immediately if found guilty. None of this appeals shit. And these days, with DNA testing and whatnot, there's a 99% chance that you dunnit. A $0.40 bullet saves the taxpayer a whole-helluva-lot of money.
'Cooey had argued his life should be spared because his obesity would make execution by lethal injection inhumane.'
Well, beating his fat ass to death with a tire iron would be inhumane too. It still doesn't make it a bad idea.

bub..bye!
He will not be missed.
Finally!
How fitting, I watched "The Green Mile" last night.
If they couldn't get an IV on that fat waste of oxygen, then all they would have to do is call me. I would start a IJ or a PICC and hit blood the first stick.
The guy was a murderer and his attorneys were grasping at straws. Even fat people with PVD have veins. Good riddance.
too fat for the method used to be of effect?
Gallows, strong synthetic rope. Played on the evening news.
some assembly required.
x2 what Uncle said.
Now there is one less who can hurt my students.

Justice delayed is justice denied - it's rotten that it takes so long. I just voted (absentee ballot yay already) on a proposition to strengthen victim's rights here (in CA).
They could easily start a .308 IV on him...
Well, good riddance to this particular blight upon the face of humanity.
Wai - I read somewhere that in China they'll bill the family for the bullet. Probably more trouble than its worth, but why not?
I hope he cried all the way to Hell.
