hope & faith

Yesterday, as I looked at my family across a table laden with a delicious holiday feast, I paused to think of my brother-in-law and all the other men and women proudly serving so far from home.

Thanks to them and the sacrifices they have made, little Christmas miracles happened all over Iraq this year.

Freedom is a great gift.

Freedom isn't a gift, but must be treated with care when found - too many don't know the price and give it up when they find out.

Merry Christmas to your brother-in- law, and every soldier/sailor/airman who keeps us free.
God bless you, my brothers-and sisters-in-arms, and may you return safe and sound to this greatest of nations, to the gratitude and recognition you so richly deserve.
I salute you, respect you, and love you all.
