naughty librarian

I just got my yearly "gift" for being such a good little employee. Someone - the library director, the library board, someone - got each of us a $25 gift certificate to the local grocery store.

Guess what I'm buying?

GUNS!!!!!

On a more serious note from behind enemy lines, we can't even buy beer or wine at our grocery stores....and NO NO NO Liquor!

I'm gonna have to second what Robb said. If you can add beer as well, excellent!

It's BACON!

unless of course you can buy beer at the grocery store in Ohio? That's a no-go here in DE.

Well the label says BEER, so that might be a hint.

You do realize the traffic you're going to get from the search term "Naughty Librarian", don't you.

Now that's just funny.

Bacon and/or beer would be my guess. (My choice, too.)

All of my life I could have been an alcoholic. This past New Year's day I cooked 2 legs of lamb, both right, curiously. I used a slop of honey and Guinness Stout and garlic and Turkish smoked black pepper. I had a sip of the beer. Oh how delicious it was. My standard for beer was the Bud I had in high school. If that's all there is to beer, I'm not wasting my time and brain cells on it. But this Guinness stuff is really good. The lamb was delish also.

MY VOTE IS FOR BACON, BEER AND BROWN SUGAR.

Bacon.
Or bacon-flavored liquor.
If it was a card to Wally World, I'd say ammo.

I had a cheese twist yesterday. It had a big thick piece of bacon wrapped up in it. It was amazing. So, I'd vote for bacon, too.

Are you all saying she likes Bacon?

And Beer?

Who'd a thunk it?

(Sorry - more fond of Coors light than Guinness.) But good bacon cooked to just the right crispness? Mmm-Mmm Good!!!

I have been using this in the brown sugar mix to make the candied bacon. It is really good.
