tough sell

Local forecasters are predicting record snowfall for 2009. They think it might rival 1978, the year of the most legendary Cleveland winter storm known as the "White Hurricane."

I think the global warming hoax might not have much of a future here in the Cleveland area.

We've already had more snow than the average for the entire winter here in MA.

Thanks a lot, Al...

I note, according to the graphic, that six of the top 10 snowy Januaries come in 1994 and after, and that only one was before 1978.

Notice we haven't hear a PEEP out of "Enviroment Ohio" lately.

Funny thing, I pulled over to check on a guy that slid his pickup into a ditch, and ended up declining to pull him out based on the Obama/Teamster stickers all across his rear window :-P

The first night I lived in Willoughby it snowed 30 inches. Welcome to Ohio!.

We got a foot over here. Work closed, schools closed. In Ohio people would have been having a picnic.

They renamed yesterday. It's now called "Climate Change."

Think that changes anything?

I didn't think so.

problem is, two of our states here down under have heatwaves on track to break 1908 records. Luckily i'm not in one of those states - but i do feel for them.

The issues is, of course, that this will give our pollies more "glowbull worming" fodder and therefore inane policies!

The snow wasn't to bad here, (northern MI.) and we missed the ice storms, but the
-8 degree nights have been a bit rough. The Global Warmer scammers, have been fairly quiet here this winter too.

Al Gore spoke today...notice he always appears just as record lows or snow storms are happening.

Also of interested was the '70's chicken little behavior...that whole "global cooling" thing. I have a feeling that their hysteria is nothing more than "liberal guilt" in action here for what they did then. Quinn's first law.

We've had ridiculous amounts of snow in Portland, OR this winter -- and normally we have almost none. I stopped believing in global warming when I got the book The Little Ice Age, and when I read Orson Scott Card's article about some of the ways that the global warming lie was foisted upon the media at http://www.ornery.org/essays/warwatch/2007-03-04-1.html

And to think, I used to be a screaming liberal. *shudder*
