Since Caleb has
Anyway, tonight JayG and I (and YOU - because you're going to call in, right?) will be discussing gun culture. "Gun culture" is a broad term that envelops all gun owners but varies from location to location. For example, participating in the gun culture, "coming out" as a gun owner, and finding comrades-in-arms in Massachusetts is a far different experience than it is in, say, Texas. We'll be talking about our own experiences and also want to hear about yours - the number to call in is (347) 539-5436.
It's going to be a fun show this evening, so be sure to join us at 9PM EST on http://www.blogtalkradio.com/gunnuts. Sign up at the site to hang out with us in the chat because that's really where you can get the full Gun Nuts experience - lots of other gunbloggers are there, plus you can see your host on webcam. So pour yourself a beverage and cozy up to your computer for an hour of gun chat and BlogTalk shenanigans! See you tonight!

You never invite ME to be your co-host!
Oh, right. I can't stay sober enough to.

Gentle suggestions to further your culture!
1. Find your fellows! Listening to gunnuts is a good start and so is cruising the gun blogs but nothing beats joining and participating in real flesh and blood people activities. Shoot competition, go to gun shows, find your family face-to-face.
2. DO something. You don't have to do everything but you need to do some little thing to further the culture. Blog. Take new people to the range. Spread the word. Loan out a gun.
3. Be political. The fight is upon us. Don't stand by. It's letter writing, emailing, phone calling tea party-ing time!
4. Put your money where your mouth is! NRA, TSRA, Second Amendment Foundation. Back your passion with some bucks.
