sleeping in

It must have been chilly last night because this morning I woke up under a pile of blankets, wedged between a man and 5 cats. All that in a full size bed means not much tossing and turning (or moving at all, really. I think I woke up in the same position I fell asleep in.) but it sure was warm.

Even itty bitty Fae, who has recently decided that she isn't going to be shy anymore, was snuggled up. She easily monopolizes the cute. I mean, just look at that little round head.

She'll be demanding her own pillow and blanket soon, I just know it.

I don't know. My cat thinks my head makes a perfectly good pillow. Maybe Fae will do the same thing?

She is pretty cute. It won't be too long before its cold enough that both of mine will be wedged up next to me, too.

Remember, dogs have owners. Cats have staff.

Only a full sized bed? Ok it's a given that you're tiny. but Mikes a bigger dude... Then add in 5 cats! wow. However the added warmth of kitties is always nice. :)

Barkley now has his own bedroom having commandeered the little twin bed in the second guest room. Oh, sorry, have to go, I think he wants room service now. :-)

Nothing like a cold, wet nose in your ear to wake you in the morning. Trust me! I know!

Happens every time the food dish is empty...

Panda's blanket and heating pad and pillow (it must be that pillow and only that pillow) take up about half my queen sized bed. Main reason she sleeps with me is she is a 7 lb chihuahua and gets cold easily. I am a human hot water bottle!

There must be a rule about blogging somewhere that states, "you must at least mention cats". Maybe this is where I go wrong?
