subject: 20 Awesome Pink Guns & Accessories

Dear Brenda,

I hope things are going well for you! From reading your last blog post, it sounds like it. We’re finally getting some sunshine and warmer temps in the Midwest. The sunshine actually inspired this blog post I put together of 20 pink guns and accessories. Being that you’re a chick with guns, I figured you and perhaps your blog readers would enjoy it! You can check it out here: (link removed)

My response?

Dear Jeanette,

If you actually DID read my blog (especially my last post, like you SAID you did) you would notice that I was just rear ended in a hit and run accident. So, no - things are not "going well" for me.

Also? My name is not "Brenda."

Do not ever contact me again.

And yes, she did write back.
Sigh.

Hmm, instructions above this box say "Be polite, please." So, the noun I was going to use to describe the person sending the email probably isn't permitted.

I'll just say I do not like what they did there.

Hope things start looking up for you soon.

I found Jeannette K's twitter feed, and she had a link to some blog with pink gun holsters. She also had a link to hiking boots, military boots, police accessories, ear muffs etc.

Sounds like she's one of those internet marketers who whore out links. Good riddance.

Thought it might be your favorite MIA booth bunny/hairdresser there for a minute...

My goodness, I'm glad she got only what she did for being so uninformed.

Gee. I just rolled through about the last twelve of your posts. I really can't tell which one she was responding to.

Hmm? Maybe she wasn't? DING! DING! DING-A-LING!

wv - revers : what Breda's H&R thumper should have put his van in before he got to her. (Either that, or it's a hidden Firefly reference for who Jeannette K should pester next.)

Ugh. It's the e-mail version of the "I'm only commenting so I can leave a link to my blog" troll. Delete with extreme prejudice!

Breda,

Give her a break (arm, maybe?) everyone knows that Irish-American chicks would NOT be named for an Italian Arms Maker.

Therefore it must be a genetic error and you just can't type your name right, it MUST be Brenda.

That or you didn't catch the error till after you had the headline, so used search and de-corrected everything to Breda!

BTW, Breda, along with Beretta, built M1s and parts for them for the Italian Military.

Where is yours?

;^)

How annoying. It's like those messages I get from recruiters from about tech jobs entirely based on Windows claiming that they read my resume. Dude, my resume screams Unix and Linux.

Or almost like a friend request I just got on Facebook from a relatively good looking woman (at least according to the profile picture) I don't know with this information on her Info page:
===
Sex: Female
Birthday: October 25, 1983
Relationship Status: Single
Interested In: Men
Looking For:
Friendship
Dating
A Relationship
Networking
===
Oh, whoopie. Guess I should jump at that opportunity. /snark

You should be asking yourself why you are getting The Brenda Fallacy's e-mail.

Making things pink are what male product designers do when they have no idea what a woman would want in a product, and can't be bothered to ask one.
