Next week, gunnies from across the country will be traveling to Charlotte, North Carolina for the NRA Annual Meeting, myself included. Convention weekends are always jam-packed with things to see and places to go. By the end of the happy adventure, you're exhausted, full of tons of new information and stuck with the realization that in the whirlwind of events you never got a chance to sit down and relax with other gunbloggers.
So this year, I've decided to organize a little blogmeet in Charlotte. I found a passable Irish pub in Charlotte (Guinness and black pudding!) that was willing to accommodate us, and arranged to have space for up to 30 people reserved for 7 - 7:30PM on Saturday, May 15th. There will be dinner upstairs, a pub to hang out in afterward, a live band at 10:30, and a patio for those of us who want to enjoy the evening air. I don't know the Charlotte area and all of this was arranged via internet and telephone, so I really hope it's a nice time.
Anyway, if you're a fellow blogger or a blogreader and you'd like to come, please send me an email at bredafallacy AT gmail DOT com. Space for dinner is limited but I'm sure the real fun will be had in the pub later in the evening. I might even let you buy me a pint.
Hope to see you there!
