Congratulations, Chicago.

Today's freedom brought to you by The Second Amendment Foundation* and this guy...

Alan Gura...a true 2A hero , an honest-to-goodness legal genius, a super nice guy, and deadly with a light saber smartphone app.

*send them a few bucks today to say thank you - they do good work and really get things done.

Hi Ms. Breda. Something just hit me involving McDonald. Since the ruling affects the States and local gooberment, YOU might be able to be a test case to overturn the gun ban at the library using the McDonald ruling. It looks like the War to defend the 2A is now having to shift to every little hamlet, but since all politics is local... I know it's over 200 pages long, but if you know of any RKBA lawyers in our area, maybe the process can be started. Won't happen over night, might have to set up a defense fund, but if any one has standing I believe it would be you. Think about it, talk with the hubby, discuss it with friends, etc. Just don't get too drunk tonight celebrating. But as Chuchill said, "it is the end of the beginning". Take care, Bubblehead Les.

Don't forget Stephen Halbrook. His extensive study of 2A history was also critical to Heller and McDonald.

While you are at it, you can thank Prez W and all the people who voted for him, especially in 2000.

Dianne Feinstein blathered that it is her belief that free Americans be granted the right of owning guns doesn't reduce crime.

And I agree.

I agree that that is her belief. I also agree that many children believe in monsters under their bed. I hope some day Feinstein looks under her bed to see it clear of monsters.

Thanks for the reminder, Breda - just joined up, something I should have done a while ago.

I would. Matter of fact, my plan would begin with the words "after the B-52's have completed their runs..."

That's an excellent picture of you Breda, but who's the creepy guy behind you? :)

That is a pretty cool picture, evidence that Breda is becoming more than just some blogger with a few fans. She sometimes gets to hang with the big dogs of the gun rights movement.

Heh. With some help from SayUncle, I organized that party in Charlotte. 31 people showed up, including quite a few big name gunbloggers, Michael Bane, Mr. Gura and another Alan you might know...Gottlieb. :)

It was certainly the "do not miss" event of the convention.
