in a neighborhood in the 'hood

An artist walking home in the trendy Tremont area in Cleveland didn't "comply" - so clearly, getting shot was all his fault. (/heavy sarcasm) But, unarmed, what were his choices? Witness say he attempted to run away.

And for the money quote? "There were cops everywhere. And yet this happened."

Yep.

How's that expression go? When seconds count, the cops are only minutes away...

Hi Ms. Breda. "Cops everywhere"? Just like the two Cleveland cops a few months back who drove by the body on the side of the highway and said it was a dead deer? Or shall we talk about the "East Side Strangler" serial killer and how the judge is screwing up the case? As someone who also lives in Lake County, Ohio, when I hear news reports about the Cleveland cops, I just ask myself "Who got hurt or killed this time?" But then again, knowing how liberal Tremont is, I'm sure they'll be screaming at the CPD to give each resident a 24/7 police bodyguard, while demanding they also go door-to-door with the SWAT team and confiscate law-abiding citizens guns.

But be aware: There MIGHT be one or two women from Tremont who MIGHT contact you for training, but something tells me you won't have to clear your schedule. Enjoy the weekend, Bubblehead Les.
