newsflash!

Cool! It seems we might not be racists after all!
"...the meme that conservatives won’t vote for minority candidates is crumbling this year. What we’re seeing is that conservatives will vote candidates who share their political values, regardless of heritage or skin color."
Imagine that - we like women, people with varying degrees of melanin, and hey, gay people too! But big government? Not so much.

Well, since the Modern Democratic Party in the year 2010 only exists to foment racial division to maintain power, one has to wonder how much this fact will play with their world view. But since they are guided by Karl Marx, I'm sure they'll just ignore the truth and continue with their lies and propaganda. Hope you're feeling better.

Shocking!

I voted for a black Libertarian candidate, yet if you listen to lefty blogs I'm clearly a racist. That must make their heads explode.

I really hate the whole race thing as a divisionary tactic. It's meaningless. Hell, Obama is black, yet he grew up places (Hawaii & Indonesia) where he had very little exposure to urban blacks.

I'm beginning to think part of the confusion is from differing definitions of "equality," which leads to a different understanding of "racism."

To a liberal, equality means giving preferential treatment to minorities as some sort of penance for being a non-minority.

To a conservative or libertarian, equality means no one gets preferential treatment based on their minority/majority status. Race is irrelevant.

To a liberal, ignoring race is racism because you can't give someone preferential treatment based on their race if you don't don't pay attention to race.

To a conservative or libertarian, race is irrelevant.

Gee, I wonder who's confused about what "racism" means?
