LOL! And I thought it was bad before I had my LASIK surgery when I couldn't find my glasses for 10 minutes because one of the cats knocked them off the nightstand.

Do you know where your Bersa was last night? Perhaps the two are conspiring to get you that gun-leg after all. I'm just sayin. . .
Have you considered painting your prosthesis in a bright orange hue? It'll be easier to find, and people won't stare any more or less.
