You can't bring up the beans/no beans topic and not expect it to be discussed then and there. :P
You're not afraid we'll run out of contentious issues are you?
I'm afraid no one will call!
I suspect you'll have no lack of callers.
Since I'll be in class during the show and unable to participate, I am casting my Absentee Ballot FOR Beans. Why? Why did you think Mel Brooks called his Masterpiece "Blazing Saddles"? Plus, how are you going to teach young Boy Scouts to "light 'em up" if there is no fuel? It's a guy thing.
I'm afraid no one will call!I'm calling in.Hell, given the range of subjects I doubt you'll have any problem with callers.
Likely not around during the show. But it sound like it will be explosive and you will be answering burning questions. You'll have a lot of callers once they get a whiff of the topic. Your choice of subject will ignite a lot of debate. I'll download the report later. I'm sure it will be a gas to listen to.
Zombie Apocalypse vs Killer Robot Uprising!
I was speeding down the freeway listening to the show stream through my droid phone. I wanted to call but I was pushing it as it was. I'd just like to reply to Alan and say: just because someone invented it one way does not mean it can't be improved! Texas invented it, thin and runny. People put some tasty beans in it and really made it shine!
Did we run out of stuff to talk about? And YOU were worried...
We could have had a 3 hour show and still not run out of stuff to talk about. I had two other topics I didn't bring up.
"...thin and runny?" WT_? You've never had REAL chili then. You're argument is rendered invalid. Had to run family errands. Can't wait to listen to the podcast.*mutters* Thin and runny! Why I... *mutters*
"We could have had a 3 hour show and still not run out of stuff to talk about. I had two other topics I didn't bring up."I was stammering like a fool just trying to say my piece and let the next caller on the air.I'd say this was your best show so far! (I have little doubt you'll top it!)
You just can't take us anywhere, huh Breda? Were a lively, opinionated bunch.
