what's in a name?

Ever see the movie Heathers? The character played by Winona Ryder, named Veronica, waded through a sea of Heathers. I was a lot like that, but I grew up in the Era of Jen (Jenny, Jennifer)...there were a lot of them in my class. Throughout grade school, they wrote with personalized pencils and pens, and decorated things with stamps and stickers bearing The Name. I used to ask anyone going to Ireland if they could please, please bring me back anything bearing the name Breda. As it turned out, personalized items were not as popular in Ireland, so no fancy pencils for me.

Thanks to modern technology, the internets, and the world becoming a smaller place every day, I have found the ultimate item bearing my name:

(clicky clicky)

Too bad you didn't have one of those to whip out in grade school.

You would have been the envy of the class and all the cool kids would have wanted a shotgun named after them.

Definitely prettier than an Italian machine gun.

You know what I don't like about saying "You Go, Girl!"?

It sounds like the model from a Zastava car ad. Nobody really wants to be the Yugo girl.

I kinda like the machine gun, it kinda has a whole 30's era Buck Rogers vibe, and goes even better on a Moto Guzzi.
