well, that was easy

After months of 1.) trying to remember to bring the DVD to work and, 2.) working up the gumption, I finally donated Eddie Eagle to the library.

Perhaps the kids in my community can join the 23 million children the NRA has helped to keep safe from gun accidents.

Gumption? Do you think you'll catch flak from Cataloging or Acquisitions? Or that it will just hit the"save for book sale" box? One of the nice things about wearing acquisitions and cataloger hats is that I really don't need to ask permission to add things to the collection. OTOH, this is a MUSIC library, so if my boss saw Eddie Eagle sitting on the shelf while he was pulling an opera for somebody, he'd probably weed it. And maybe me.
