Love for you to join us in North Carolina! The Wake county library system could always use some talent, and we will even throw in the first year's membership to the local range.
A) That's why I voted Absentee, so I don't have to deal with Trumka's Trolls at the Polls, B) maybe the fact that Trumka has to show up means they aren't as confidante as they seem,(but with all the retired Union Thugs up here, Issue 2 will probably Fail, no matter how many Ballot Boxes need to be stuffed by ACORN to ensure it's defeat) and C) we WERE going to Texas, then I found out from my cousin this past spring who was trying to get me a Job down there in the School System that she lost her job after 29 years. She told me, "Contrary to the Media reports and Rick Perry's speeches, the economy isn't as good as the rest of the Nation thinks it is. It's BETTER that most places, but not by much." D) And try to sell your home up here, even if you could get a job down their.
But hey, don't worry. We're just suffering because of George Bush, and 4 more of years of Hope and Change will straighten everything out. Until then, take strength from the words of the First Lady Michelle Obama, who recently said "Let Them Eat Peas."
My household has been planning a move (to get out of the uber-liberal Pacific Northwest) for a while, but now our plans are on hold until 2013. While we've been eyeing Anchorage (winters no worse than Chicago, for the most part), I'm starting to wonder if we shouldn't consider Wyoming, Idaho, or Montana. Anyplace I don't have to deal with large cities or hot summers!
My wife and I live in Cincinnati and while we've often mused at moving to North Carolina close to her family after seeing where this vote is going we're now putting a serious plan in place to get us there.
The only concern we're hearing about there is that new immigrants from the blue states are now trying to ruin their new home.
Well, after checking the Election Results with our Local Board, I see that a little common sense prevailed, but not on the Big Issue. So the Question is this: How's your Spanish? Gonna need it down in Alamo Land.
Although New Hampshire has a much better Tax System, and they LOVE Open Carry up there.....
You'd feel right at home in Arizona, Breda. We have open carry, concealed without a permit, and the downtown public library has homeless surfing porn sites all day long.
Open carry and Concealed. Wonderful weather. All four seasons. Beaches and mountains. Reasonably responsive politicians...heck, I can go complain to my delegate just by driving downtown and walking into his office.....while carrying.
Forget Texas! Come to Virginia!

Get out while you can...
I know...it's going to be a race soon.
Agreed. It's a sad day here in OH and really has me looking at KY to stay in the region.

Live Free or Die land has better gun laws than TX and still has the lovely winters you know you'd miss...
Okay, wait, that's not the greatest selling point now, is it...
At least moving is an option. For now...
Hate to leave that fine, fine CCPL system, though....

NM has open carry, good libraries and better food than Texas.
Just saying :D
Ohio just set itself back 10 years. They never learn.
Still beats Maryland. Though we do have good beer.

The Tarheel State has long been, relatively speaking, the California of the South.
Tennessee...
No State Income Tax...
Really good handgun laws...
Low cost of living...
I'm loving it down here!

"That's right, you're not from Texas...but Texas wants you anyway!" Lyle Lovett tells it like it is.
Hope you do come this way...
